My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:

"I use a  [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"

Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.

One entry per person.

No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.

The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.

We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.

Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.

Happy Holidays!

I have a new Babylock Soprano. The self threading feature is a MUST for me as my vision is not what it used to be. I also have a 1986 Elena Super Carina that I am now using to teach my Granddaughter.

I have several machines that I sew with plus a serger. I do have a fancy machine that does embroidery but find I sew the most on a mid range machine. I use my serger for finishing any seams that are not hidden.

I use several sewing machines. My favorite is the 1980ish Singer that my mom bought me when I was 14. It sews through tough fabrics and I rarely have tension problems. For decorative stuff, I sew with a newer machine, a brother NQ 700. I am still getting used to it. For serging, I love my 1987 White serger. I bought a newer Singer serger when I gave my old one to my daughter and have regretted it ever since. The newer one is not the quality of my White (my daughter is in heaven now and felt so bad, she found a duplicate White on Ebay for me and gave it to me for Christmas last year!!!)

I have a Jerome sewing machine.
I like it because it is pretty user friendly.Just does the basics but works well.
