My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use a Janome 325. The thing I like about it is its ease of use and its dependability.
I use Janome Memory Craft 6500P for all my regular sewing and its great for a few reasons but mostly the amount of work space is a dream. I also use a Jnaome Pro4DX Serger and well I have to admit I love it because I have to yell at it far less than other sergers I’ve used in the past. lol Just keepin it real folks!
I consider myself luck to be born into a sewing family. I’m not the most accomplished seamstress in my family but I probably am amongst the most daring! I love all the personalities that offer their designs through Pixie Faire. I love how various people offer different ways of thinking. I am grateful that Pixie Faire is here – I think it feeds a “healthy” addiction!
“I use a Pfaff quilt style sewing machine. It has a pressure thing that helps track material through properly and the machine itself has never given me any trouble. I also use a BabyLock Elanta serger that is so easy to thread. Gave away my old serger, because it was so complicated to thread, to a DCF worker who makes quilts for some of her clients. Figured it would come to good use. Thanks !
I have a circa 1964 Elna super. I also got a second one at a tag sale for $10! I like the non computer aspect. Stitching is very even. I also have a Viking SE. Depends on the project which one I use. Please consider sewing a Sewpowerful purse …or more in 2018. (Pixiefaire’s community project) The program supports young Zambian girls to stay in school. I’ve seen the joy and smiles that a purse brings to these young girls.
