My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)

To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:

"I use a  [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"

Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.

One entry per person.

No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.

The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.

We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.

Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.

Happy Holidays!

I currently use a Singer sewing machine that I recently purchased since I’ve literally worn out 3 machines. I like this one because it has an embroidery feature.

I use a Singer or a Brother… The thing I like most about the Singer is my new one and the Brother is an old one, but still sew very well and Singer Surger that I love very much.

I use a Kenmore sewing machine that I purchased nearly 40 years ago right after I graduated from high school. When applying for my first car loan, the bank manager was so impressed by my wise investment that I was granted the car loan! The thing I like most about it is that it is an invincible machine. My mum fell in love with my machine too and my dad bought the same one too. She quilted on it for 30 years before her passing and each grandchild has a quilt made by her. My daughter now has her machine.

I use a Bernina 310. I like it because it is a workhorse. I got it for my high school graduation from my parents in 1976. It is wonderful. Back then machines were made from metal not plastic so they lasted as attested by my machine. I have used it being a seamstress, then making clothes for my two children including matching outfits for for my son’s stuffed animals and my daughter’s Kirsten doll. Now I make clothes and toys for my four grandchildren.

I use a brother quilting machine and a Janome server. Just purchased a Janome cover stitch machine. I’ve only used it once and it was great.
