My biggest challenge Is organizing all of it
My biggest sewing organization challenge is Fabric and thread. I probably don’t need half of it but I can’t bring myself to get rid of it lol!!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is too little space for all the fabric, notions, and patterns that I seem to hold onto.
My biggest organization challenge is putting all similar items in one place while working on both sewing doll clothes and quilts. It’s as if I feel that I need separate sewing rooms, tools snd fabric. Honestly, it’s driving me nuts!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is knowing when to throw away a scrap and if I keep it, then how do I store it to find it when I may need it. Ha! Ha!
My biggest organization problem is keeping all of the small notions etc in separate but visible space s so I can see what I have.
Finding the space to keep it organized
My biggest sewing organization challenge is shrinking space/downsizing… & truthfully, too many tools & fabric… too many varied interest areas…
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing material.
My biggest challenge in my sewing room is unfinished projects. I might start a new project but then I get orders on Etsy and those projects get set aside. Thanks!
My organizational challenge is me. I keep buying fabric and patterns, I have a serger and a sewing machine. I have gone vertical with some storage – like my threads, but it is still not enough.
My biggest organizational challenge is putting things away after I have taken things out, changed my mind, took more things out and then could not remember what I was looking for in the first place.
My biggest organizational challenge is what to do with left over fabric after cutting the pattern. I hate throwing it away.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is. One project at a time and sticking with a project until completely finished
My biggest sewing organization challenge is Storing fabric!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my fabric organized so I can always find what I need.
My biggest organizational challenge is fabric……..I have so much of it & not sure to organize by color, type & then color, or by type of fabric alone. Not enough space or room for it. Any suggestions???

My biggest organizational challenge is my fabric!
My biggest sewing room challenge is keeping my fabric organized neatly. I currently store most of my fabric on comic boards on shelving. Things can get quite out of hand between projects!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is having a place in my home where I can create a sewing room!
My biggest organizational problem is keeping track of all the projects I have going. My sewing area is small and keeping track of supplies is sometimes a nightmare.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is limited space. I tend to pick up fabric just because it’s cute or pretty and then never use it.
keeping project items together
“My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my thread colors matched with bobbins."
My biggest organizational challenge is to stop sewing, put it all away, and get back to studying for my nursing degree
Finding all my supplies I have scattered throughout my spare bedroom.
My biggest challenge is attempting to put back the extra fabrics and supplies originally considered for the latest project. Also keeping non-sewing clutter from accumulating in my sewing room.
My biggest organizational challenge is fabric storage. I use tiny bits for trim and large lengths for other projects.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is not buying more of a fabric than I need for the project. Consequently, I have an over abundance of fabric.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is too much of everything—fabric, patterns, pattern books, notions, kits, etc—and no dedicated space to store it.
My biggest organizational challenge is learning to organize my patterns and fabrics in a limited space.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is pattern storage.
My biggest sewing challenge is to organize all my threads and fabric so it will be easier to pick out fabric for my next project.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is taking too many classes and then I have lots of projects to finish, and remembering how to do them is the big challenge..
My biggest sewing organization challenge is where do I put everything that I have.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is space
My biggest sewing organization challenge is To keep my cat away from my projects in process
My biggest sewing organization challenge is no room for anything
My biggest sewing organization challenge is space to store all my sewing items.
My biggest sewing challenge is ME! I am not good about putting things away. I am a procrastinator so I end up making a mess when I need something quickly as I dig through the piles I haven’t cleaned up. My New Years goal is to sew mostly from my stash, finish up at least 5 UFO’s and finally clean up my spaces.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is… having the energy to do anything.
My biggest organization challenge is my HUGE stash of material, now labeled in boxes, but having the time and energy to commit to sewing greater lengths of time without back pain. I am working on my sewing-craft room, frequently reorganizing the wonders collected there!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping like fabrics grouped together… fabric content/colorways
My biggest sewing organization challenge is______ Needing a way to organize my fabric and yarn
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having a sewing room and having to put things away in the middle of a project so the sunroom can be presentable.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding which fabric I want to use for a project. I organized it, but now I have to go through boxes trying to find what looks good together. Also, trying to keep dust off of everything!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having a sewing room, and having a HUGE fabric stash. I am constantly trying to find the right spot in my home to store my fabric so it is accessible (and so I know what i actually have), plus having a place to sew that I don’t have to put everything away when I am not sewing.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my drawers clean. I haven’t found the right system that works best for me.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing the unfinished projects in order – some quilts need binding, some clothes need hand-stitching finishing, some items need buttons, etc. All unfinished projects are in a large bin, which is very inconvenient.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is. One project at a time and sticking with a project until completely finished
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping everything accessible. I don’t have a lot of space so some stuff has to be buried or piled on and it’s frustrating, lol
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding time and a good system to store everything in a practical, useful way.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is actually putting everything away when I’m done with a project instead of leaving another layer of fabrics and accessories around.
My biggest, sewing organization challenge is trying to find a place for all of my notions! I have been collecting them for years and years, so I have a lot! I don’t seem to have enough drawers to store everything, and I don’t like to get rid of anything that’s useful.
My biggest sewing challenge is storing material.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having a dedicated sewing room/area. I seem to spend more time taking everything out and putting them away again mid-project. I work from home so I have a dedicated desk that I use in the day time and turn into my craft desk at night. I also have a drafting table where I keep my sewing machine on and a TV dinner table where I keep my serger on, all of which are in my formal Livingroom.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is deciding what to keep and what to donate.
I need a bigger room as I need all my stash and can’t part with much. OK, I’ll admit, I am a fabric hoarder.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my craft/sewing/embroidery room organized!!!
Keeping my fabric organized! I already have too much; but I can’t seem to stop myself! And I always put a fabric together with a pattern (or a note of what Pattern I have in mind)—in the hopes that I will sew it…eventually.

My biggest sewing organizational challenge is half-finished objects. I try to clean up between projects but sometimes I have to start something and it all starts getting disorganized
My biggest sewing room challenge is how to organize my threads. Should I do it by type general sewing: (cotton or polyester) serger (regular, wooly, 12wt & decorative) embroidery (polyester, rayon, cotton) and other decorative yarns & ribbons to couch on projects, or join them all by color.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is deciding what to keep and what to donate.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having a dedicated sewing area, so I keep wasting time packing out my sewing items and packing them away again mid-project.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is cutting and preparing the fabric. I have disabilities that include stamina when standing to pin and cut out.
My biggest organization problem is only having a 8×10 room to put EVERYTHING in!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my supplies put away so that I can easily find them when its time to sew.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is that I have too many sewing projects I want to do. I should not buy materials for another before I finish what I have started.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding space!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having enough space for everything and needing everything I have.
Finding a space that will help me organize my products to begin to sew.
Marilyn.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping the fabric I’ve purchased organized. I start out very organized and after about 2 months I have to reorganize. Guess my biggest challenge is to stay out of the fabric stores!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping track of the fabric I have purchased. I start out very organized and then after about two months I have to reorganize again. Guess the biggest challenge is to stay out of the fabric stores!!
My biggest problem is space. I have a very small space for my sewing and find keeping it neat difficult.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is – my sewing room. I have a dedicated sewing room and it’s not a bad size, but I’ve got a lot of stuff. My sewing and interlock/coverlock machines sit in the middle of the floor facing each other. Everything else is around them. My husband built me some wonderful cabinets with sliding doors and another shelf unit for fabric. The cabinets cover one wall from floor to ceiling. I keep my 18" doll patterns in see-thru plastic containers labeled according to clothing type. My smaller doll patterns are in loose-leaf binders on the dresser below my fabric shelves. My sewing room is in “layers” and I use small floor dollies with plastic storage boxes stacked on top so that I can move them easily when I need to get behind them to reach other things. Fabric is stored wherever it will fit, and I don’t mind having to search through them to find something to use because it refreshes my memory as to what I have. Trims and laces are stored in the cabinets in canvas bins according to color. In short I’ve done the best I can with the room I have but the room always does look cluttered. Since I’m not prone to get rid of things I’ve learned to deal with it, but my granddaughter who was spending time with me the week before Christmas while I made her Christmas dress, went into my sewing room, looked around and made this observation. Nanna you really need a bigger room.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is that I am a serial starter of projects, and often cannot find all of my materials when I want to r Sigh….esume a particular projects.
My biggest storage problem is having enough space in my room. My closet is filled to the max as is under my tables and in all my drawers.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is that I am a serial starter of projects, and often cannot find all of my materials when I want to r Sigh….esume a particular projects.
My biggest organizational challenge is keeping my sewing table clear so I have room to work.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is sorting my threads with matching bobbins. I always misplace the bobbins and then rewind new ones only to find the ones I misplaced.
My biggest challenge is organizing my doll fabric. I find pieces of fabric that are perfect but they are small and I just haven’t figured a way to organzie that. Right now it is just in tubs.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storage space.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is cleaning the “toy room” when I need to lay out large projects to cut on the floor area.I have to store my large cutting mats when people are here… I have open front banker boxes on shelves floor to ceiling for my fabrics that are wrapped on cardboard, so that part is conquered. Thank you for your generous hearts !
My biggest challenge is the space to work and for storage.
My biggest sewing organizational problem is where to keep my projects until I have time to complete them.
My biggest organizational challenge is finding a place for all my material. I am a retired educator who sewed for the theatre and saved many kinds and colors of fabric in sizes for dolls. I also received a new serger and another sewing machine as well as many garbage bags of materials from those whom I made free masks for my community. 2 of the mothers I gave masks to their families died and the daughters gave me their mother’s machines and material and thread. I finally got all that organized into 17 quart tubs that go from the top of a bunkbead to the ceiling and on an 8 ft table in my bedroom from the top of the table to the ceiling. and I still have boxes of satin in a warehouse as well as costume fur my daughter sent me and lots of leather and pleather for Indian beading and doll shoes.
My biggest organizational challenge is storing fabric and patterns in a closet
My biggest challenge is dealing with not enough space
My biggest sewing organization challenge is currently organizing everything. I have put it off so long that everything is piled in an unorganized mess. I need to take the time to sort and put away, maybe even throw something away (but what if I need it later…)
my biggest challenge is space! My room is small and my collection of sewing stuff is huge!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is lack of space and not knowing how to keep my scrap bits of fabric .
My biggest sewing organization challenge is a combination of too much stuff, not enough space and that I’d almost always rather be sewing than cleaning/organizing.
My biggest challenge is putting my supplies away , my sewing area looks like bomb went off
Starting too many things at once & then having a big mess everywhere!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding the right sized containers for my fabric and keeping my patterns organized after I print them/cut them/use them.
My biggest organizational challenge is getting started. It’s just dh and I, kids are grown and on their own, and there’s plenty of room for both of us to pursue our interests. There are only two closets, but dh has made plenty of shelving units. I think it’s just that I’d rather be crafting instead of organizing. Oh and there’s the trying to remember where I put things when I do organize them. Did I stick that piece of fabric by color, fiber content or how I intend to use it.
My biggest organizing challenge is Getting all the things for a project together in one place and keeping them that way.
