…keeping my fabric and thread organized so I know not to buy the same thing again!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is putting away all the bits and pieces after a project before I start the next one!!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is notions. I seem to put all over.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is saving every single scrap just in case I need a 1 inch square of a certain fabric!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is Keeping it organized, and sharing the same space to do different things.
My biggest organization challenge like everyone, is fabric and thread storage. I have the pegged wall racks – 4 of them – with all the thread on them. This is great for quick grabbing and seeing all your colors at once and I love that. But the spools fall off all the time and it is just not a sophisticated look in my otherwise nicely decorated space. I roll my fabric and it is on shelves sort of by color, but also in vintage and antique containers, vases and wire baskets about the room which is great for decorating purposes but makes a lot of places to LOOK when you need to find all the right fabrics to go together for a project.
my biggest challenge is storaging fabrics how to do it and what to use.i always have a messing room when working on a project.
My biggest challenge is putting things in places I can find them.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is where to put all the things that I make!
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is, like so many others, storing fabric. I just don’t have enough space to keep it where I can see it all so I can find that special piece I know I have when I need it!
my biggest sewing chalenge is finding the sewing room again so i can sew in that room.. the room needs a big decluttering
My biggest sewing organization challenge is having too much stuff, and not enough time
My biggest sewing organization challenge is too much fabric, and yet always wanting more fabric.
My biggest sewing organization problem is putting fabric (and everything else) back where they belong!
Biggest challenge in organization? Finding the time to clean up the messes I leave behind after projects are finished. Right now my studio looks like a tornado hit it so I need to make the time to reorganize things and clean it up before the next “go round” of projects.
My biggest sewing organization problem is keeping my counter free of accessories and clutter so that I have room to cut and lay out projects!
My biggest organizational challenge is having enough room to store my supplies. I am always finding new ways to organize my sewing room and still keep it functional.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing fabric in a way that is organized (by season, color, theme) but still able to see it so I can get to it quickly..
I agree with so many others….putting away newly bought fabric…having space to store it all!!!!
My biggest problem is space. My craft/music/office is tiny. I clear my craft table of computer stuff to sew on. the kitchen table to cut out patterns, and move stuff around so I can set up the ironing board. Most of my patterns and stuff are in tones stacked in the closet. I definitely need a ‘prep day’ before starting projects.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is getting all my fabric organized by type in a different bin each… not to say that my yarns and threads also have to be organized
My biggest sewing organization challenge is fabric storage.
My biggest sewing organizational problem is finding the fabrics I want to use on a project. I end up having to go through all of my fabric scraps before matching pieces together.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping track of my fabric stash! I get a good deal on an amazing piece, then never use it because I can’t find it when its time to create! Womp, womp, womp!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not putting things away and having to take time to clear a work area.
My biggest organizational challenge is definitely fabric storage. I have a fairly small space so storing my fabrics so that I can see what I have or find what I need quickly is hard.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is creating a dedicated sewing space, I keep eeking out a corner within family space which ends up becoming over run with family stuff
The biggest challenge for my sewing organization is not having the room to store my fabric.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is having enough space to store all my fabric. I constantly am adding to my collection and can’t seem to let go of any of the fabric I already have.
My biggest challenge is putting away the things from one project before starting a new project!
My biggest organizational challenge is finding usable storage space to prevent clutter.
My biggest organizational challenge is a very large amt of fabric.
My biggest organizational challenge is putting stuff away. It often happens I’m working on one project then getting orders for another. When getting back to the original project, pieces are misplaced and missing!
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is finding places to store fabric. Also putting things away—I tend to just pile things up until it’s a big mess!
My biggest challenge is deciding what project to do next.
my biggest organizational challenge is storing scrap fabric
My biggest sewing organization challenge is small pieces of fabric that can still be used to make something wonderful.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is brown recluse spiders – they love hiding in clutter
The biggest challenge for my sewing organization is not having the room to properly store my fabric.
Deciding how to sort and organize the various types of fabrics to make them easier to find in such a small area.
My biggest challenge is keeping things organized, and of course enough space is always an issue no matter how much I’ve spread out, lol.
My biggest challenge is my growing fabric stash.
My two organizational challenges are fabric storage and pattern organization. I have both purchased and Pixie Faire patterns for 4 or 5 different doll sizes, as well as knitting patterns for all the doll sizes. I don’t always remember what I own, and then if I remember having a pattern, I spend lots of time trying to locate it.
My biggest organization struggle is how to keep my scrap fabric organized
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping up with fabric scraps.
My biggest problem Is finding a way to store items I have for upcycling.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding a proper place for all my smalls. Buttons, scissors, etc
Hubby’s WFH has stuck and my sewing area is sort of fractured. Where to have what?
Organizing patterns, pdf print outs, and computerized storage of purchased pattern downloads is one of my challenges. Oh, then there’s all the notions and zippers and quilters tape and coffee filters, thread, etc etc.
My biggest organizational challenge is wrangling all my marking pencils. Can’t seem to keep them in one place .
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is finding room for all my fabric, thread and other sewing items.
My biggest organizational challenge is the lack of space. No matter how hard I try to down size it is an issue. I use a room that is my craft, exercise (lol), and grandchildrens toy room.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding the space to put everything.
My biggest challenge is organizing fabric and notions so that there is enough room left over for my incoming long arm quilting machine!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping up with fabric.
Keeping everything in a “safe spot” and then losing it
My biggest organizational challenge is storing my machines, fabrics and accessories in the dining room since we don’t have a guest room and the basement is unfinished.
My biggest organizational problem is the space or lack of space I have in my sewing area.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing fabric. Have tried many methods but none seems to work very well.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is sorting my reusable scraps for me and having a basket available for my sewing students to practice with which are unusable for me as a quilter.
My biggest sewing organization challange is finding room for all my fabrics. I need more shelves and storage tubs.
My biggest organizational challenge making every thing look in order, not like a big mess..
My biggest sewing organization problem is organizing my scraps by color for later projects.
My biggest sewing room challenge is simply a small room. I have used every single foot of space and it works – - but small is small when you look at the big picture. I sew for dolls, and I quilt so I have to be organized and clean machines and spaces after each project. We downsized on purpose to enjoy our retirement, so I am loving this season of life and accepting the challenge of this “small” area to do big things!!
My biggest sewing organizational problem is how to neatly organize my fabric so I know where everything is when I need it. Scraps are probably the biggest challenge – hate to waste fabric.
My biggest organizational challenge when it comes too sewing is so much fabric and too little space
Definitely how to organize my thread.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping the little things organized. Ribbons, silk flowers, snaps, buttons, etc.
My biggest organizational challenge is how to organize my fabrics
My biggest sewing organization is keeping any presser feet and cutting tools easily available to use. I have my stash organized by color groups. But those small items that I use often, just seem to be all over the place.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding a way to organize that allows me to find things when I want to use them. I’d rather sew than spend my limited time searching for something.
what to do with the fabric I bought on a whim, and later thought what did I buy that for?
My organization issue, though not necessarily the biggest, is organizing my patterns for quick retrieval of my printed patterns. Sometimes it feels like I waste more time looking for a pattern than if I had just reprinted a new set of pattern pieces. My “Big 4” patterns are all organized by number, so I can easily file these. However, there is no sorting scheme for my pdfs.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is to make a choice of all the fantastic patterns that pixiefaire has to offer! 😻
My biggest sewing organization challenge is staying neat while working on a big project
My biggest organization challenge is storing smallest pieces of fabrics and then finding the colors / textures of those small pieces quickly.

My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding enough time to do all the sewing I want to do and keep all my projects in order!!!
My biggest sewing organization is deciding what to make next
My biggest sewing organization challenge is universally sized storage containers—as my stash of stuff grows, I can no longer find the same bins/totes/etc so things are not as tidy as I’d like.
I love all the little clear containers that you have stored small items in. But I realized that I need a bigger room.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is thread and bobbin storage.
My biggest challenge is fabric storage. I have large shelves that are just a bit too deep. I don’t like putting fabrics in front of each other.
My biggest organizational challenge is knowing how much fabric there is on a given card. I wrap it on cardboard I purchase, but once it’s neatly wrapped, I can’t tell how much is there. I love how it all stands on the shelf so it is easy to see the various patterns, but will I have enough? Have to unwrap it and measure to find out.
My biggest organizational challenge is space. Too much stuff, not enough space.
My biggest organizational challenge is keeping all my fabric , especially the little scappy pieces for applique organized and available when I need them.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is fabric scraps. I like to keep scraps for doll clothes and appliqués or other small projects but they get to be a big mess quickly!
Keeping track of all my fabrics is a challenge. My sewing room is full. Another challenge is organizing the doll clothes by size, especially the sweaters between AG size, KnK and Gotz. The differences are not obvious to the eye.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing fabrics in a way that makes sense..
My biggest sewing challenge is doing a good job with patchwork by hand. It never stays.
My biggest organizational challenge is keeping my fabric organized so I can find what I need easily.
My biggest organizational challenge is keeping my fabrics organized
My biggest sewing room challenge is knowing how much fabric is on the cardboard “bolts” that they are so neatly stored. I have tried small pieces of paper pinned to the side ( the front is generator narrow and ugly), I have tried a mailing label folded in Half on a rubber band and also just a piece of painters tape, I don’t recommend this as the sticky sometimes doesn’t come off.
My biggest organization challenge is ribbon. I don’t like them out in the open because they get dusty so struggle how to store them neatly.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing notions and thread in an efficient, readily available way.
My biggest storage challenge is finding clear containers for my fabric. I want clear storage containers so I can see what is in the container.
“My biggest sewing organization challenge is Out of site out of mine. When items are put away I forgot that I have them.
My biggest challenge is giving myself permission to sew a little bit when there is so many other things that I really should be taking care of.
