My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing fabric.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is abundance. I have too much fabric for my space. Some I bought, some I was given. How do I choose what to keep and what to give up?
My biggest organizational problem in my sewing room is my yarn it’s all in giant plastic bags my daughter put it in so now I don’t know what is what and it’s a mess.
My challenge is storing fabric pieces.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is procrastination. Sometimes, procrastination is the result of no space or time, but mostly it happens when I begin to organize and find a project that I would rather be working on….
My biggest sewing organization challenge is procrastination. Sometimes, procrastination is the result of no space or time, but mostly it happens when I begin to organize and find a project that I would rather be working on….
My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing fabric and fabric scraps.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping trims, elastic, buttons, ribbons straightened up and untangled.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is thread – so much thread and no good way to organize.
Sewing tiny little clothes with large fingers!!
My biggest organizational problem is storing laces and trims.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping trims, elastic, buttons, ribbons straightened up and untangled.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping the cats off projects in process. LOL
My biggest organization challenge is caused by my wide variety of sewing interests from doll clothes to quilts and things in between so I have a lot of stuff!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is organizing my loads of fabric.
My biggest organization challenge right now is probably finding a good place for my ribbon and lace.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is space for storage, especially fabric storage.
My biggest organization challenge is putting stuff away when done and keeping the work area clean. I always have to clear a space before I can get started. I tend to find what I need faster when it’s a mess though 🤷🏼♀️.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not bringing in things that do not belong and cluttering up my sewing space.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is putting together a new space.
I love to organize. My big problem is keeping it that way once I start sewing. As soon as I start sewing, the mess begins. I get excited about my project and I don’t take the time to put anything back where it belongs.
My biggest sewing organization problem is not putting things away during a sewing project. I tend to work in organized chaos.
I am extremely organized. I even have an inventory book of all my patterns, materials and notions in labeled bags for patterns I use frequently, and grids drawn for where everything is stored in every drawer, closet or shelf. My biggest challenge is running out of space to keep everything organized
My biggest sewing organization challenge is fabric. Should I group by type of fabric, color, size, age etc
My biggest change id keeping my space CLEAN I have too much stuff and have a huge problem trying to have a place for everything
My biggest sewing organization challenge is lack of space!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is where to store all of my fabric so that it stays clean and easy to find what I’m looking for.
Thanks for all the great pattern ideas.
The biggest challenge for my sewing room is having too much fabric. I probably have enough for a couple of lifetimes!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is fabric, I have so much!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my cutting table cleared off.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is time.
I enjoy all types of sewing- quilting, garment sewing, doll sewing, and crafts. Each of these has its own fabrics (to some extent), tools, notions, etc.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is Keeping all of these subgroups in their own space, but where I can use them on a weekly basis.
My biggest organization challenge is thread. I have thread boxes, but I have so much thread that I have to stack them. So getting to the right color can be a lot. I’d love a more efficient way to store thread that makes it more accessible. And so I could store bobbins with spools.
My biggest sewing organization is finding a place for everything. I am not an organized person and figuring out what to put together and how to fit things in a container and where to keep on the shelves in very overwhelming to me. Oh, I am very ADHD, and I think that contributes to my lack of organizing skills.
My biggest issue is enough is never enough. Never have enough fabric, space, time to sew or clean, space for patterns, etc etc. you name it.
My biggest challenge is finding a place for all my fabric to be stored.
My biggest sewing challenge is organizing my notions. I can never find what I need until I buy more, then I find it!
Looking forward to using the card.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is fabric. I have too much of it! I sew garments, I quilt and I do craft projects – I need a bigger storage area!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is ribbon and trim. I’ve tried baggies, winding around cards, just dumping them into a big box and hoping for the best…,. The only things that are organized are my full bolts of lace and 100yard spools of ribbon. It’s sad. All of my other trims like buttons and flowers are neatly organized in those 10 drawer rolling carts. Those are epic.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having a big enough house. My sewing supplies are stored in 4 different rooms of my house. I would love to have 1 dedicated room for sewing.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is keeping my fabric and patterns in a way that does not look like a tornado just ran thru the room.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding room for all the fabric.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is______.”
My biggest sewing organization problem is space. How to best store items when there is so little space so that I can find them when I need them.
My biggest organization challenge is having things in too many places. I am working on organizing my tools in their useful location.
My biggest sewing room organization challenge is being disciplined about putting fabric away after I have used it. When I don’t take the time to put it back where it belongs, when I need it again, I don’t know where to find it!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is everything but fabric. My fabric is super organized but everything else is a mess. Mostly just thrown in big drawers.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is I do not have enough space for everything.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not having one location to store everything and set up work so I can keep it out, ready to go. I’dl ove to get the storage pieces to set up one work area!
“My biggest sewing organization challenge is storing patterns.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is how to store and organize my fabric so I know what I have and where it is when I want to use it!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my elastic and velcro neat and separated.
My biggest selling challenge is keeping my fabric and supplies to my self-subscribed closet space while keeping everything accessible and easily seen.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is actually getting organized in my space. I’m overwhelmed and give up before getting anything done.
Wow just trying to organize yesterday!!! I can’t seem to get 80lbs of potatoes into
a 5 lb bag. My biggest challenge is what to do with my fabric. It’s not so simple to just fold it on a cardboard and put in a cubby like I see on Pinterest. I have a lot of smaller pieces that won’t work ion a cardboard. And I get mice in my bins!! 🤪
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is organizing my scraps for other projects. I cannot decide if the scraps should all just be placed in a clear see-through tote based on the colors no matter what the size of the scrap is or if I should cut them down into strips, squares, triangles etc. then place in clear see-through totes based on size of said strips, squares, triangles, etc. The other challenge is taking the time to actually cut them down and separate them.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is staying organized and neat/cleaned up so I can be able to sew and do many other crafts in there.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping track of all of my notions in an orderly manner so that I can find them quickly, yet they aren’t all laid out on my sewing table and cluttering up my work space.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding the right material for the pattern.
My biggest organizational challenge is putting stuff away after I am finished a project.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is finding a place to keep all of my fabric leftovers, and keeping my thread away from my cat.
“My biggest sewing organization challenge is that my sewing space is very small.” I have my sewing room set up in our spare bedroom which is slightly larger than the bed itself so my storage areas must be compact and organized. I make use of underbed storage, a closet without doors. a desk/table with bins/drawers and my wall space. My ironing and cutting space are in the room next door. Finding space is definitely a challenge for me.
My organization challenge is that I want to keep everything because I see ideas in everything….more than I can ever make
My biggest sewing problem is managing the fabric storage. I hoard too much! Really! But how to sort and store the best stuff is beyond me.
My biggest challenge is organizing my very large stash of fabric. I have it in totes by type, mostly. But some of it is stored by doll (wellie wisher, boy doll) or season. Not the best system. I’ve got to come up with something better.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is keeping laces and trims neat.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is not enough space.
My biggest organizing challenge is putting things away—and having a place to put them. My closet is full, my totes are full.
my biggest organizational challenge is storing in a very small space.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is wanting more than what I have room for.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is I have my sewing right when you enter into my house in the foyer. It is the first thing that you see. It will take forever to get everything out. By the time it is all out I’m too tired to actually do anything. So it usually stays open and items are alll around it. Not the best look when you first come in my room. However you just have to accept it and move on.
I have tried to use one system to reorganize which has been working with all of the little stuff but the different fabrics and the many clothes that I want to recycle are still all over the place and in different size containers so doesn’t look pretty! I’m just glad that I am not the only one who has difficulties with this.
Look forward to the ideas that I know pixie staff will come up with!
My biggest challenge is to keep my cutting table free and clean, I tent to piile things on it also all my little pieces of fabric, I cannot seem to throw any away!!!!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is putting all my threads and bobbins away where they belong.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my fabric sorted so that I can see what I have on hand.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is putting the finishing touches on my amazing new studio. I have to work time in between projects to complete the organization process. The room was previously a large family game room with a regulation pool table, a couple of sofas and our exercise equipment. Now it is “just” my sewing studio. I have ample space for fabrics, drawers for notions, shelves for patterns, a pressing station, etc. Now to tame the scraps!!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is how to store all of the various fabrics I have with still being accessible. I have quilted for over 30 yrs, but now that I have granddaughters, I sew for them and their AG dolls.
My biggest sewing organization is time. I have a place for everything but never seem to have the time to put things back where they belong.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is, large pieces of fabric, 4+ yards. I have them in totes but after while I forget what’s in the tote.
My biggest challenge in organizing my sewing room is fabric scraps. I have so many scraps all different sizes & shapes.
My biggest organizational challenge is that I have too much sewing stuff.
My biggest organizational challenge is somewhere to put all the little items you need for sewing and need once in a while. I can never remember where I put said items. Right now I have them thrown in a basket.
My biggest organization challenge is having enough space for all my fabric. I have garments that I want to upcycle and don’t know how to store them. I also have fabric that my two sisters have given me. I am just running out of space!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is how to set up what I have to use it easily when I want. I live at home with a non-sewer and my room doesn’t fit both a sewing room and a bed room. One day I will have the budget and be able to set it up. I can set up when I when and where I want but have to put it back every time.
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my fabric organized.
My biggest sewing organizational challenge is leaving my thread out everywhere because the box I’m supposed to keep it in is often a pain to access and put the threads away quickly.
I am 78 years old I am trying to teach my granddaughter to sew, I still have my trusted singer machine which I have not used in over 20years and have forgotten more than I remember so we are both learning, I am amazed at the new tools for sewing, my biggest problem was in my sewing basket where thread from spools would come loose and be so interangled it would drive me crazy, then hunt a bobin with thread on it that spool of tread I wanted to use. well I am eying what I found on yoyr sight the bobbin that stands on top of the spool, I will be getting one for myself and my one for my grand daughter as I bought her a brother sewing machine for CHRISTMAS so we could sew toghter.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is to organize my time (so I can sew at least once a week).
My biggest sewing organization challenge is keeping my fabric organized.
My biggest sewing organization challenge is space! When we moved into our house, we agreed to share our basement space 50/50. Since then, we have added a large garage. Now, 20 years later, My husband has 90% of the basement, the attached garage, the large garage, and a he hut! He has all the finer instincts of a pack rat! I have my sewing room. Help!
My biggest challenge is to not use my sewing room as a “dumping ground”. We moved into our home almost a year ago and there are still things in it that I don’t have room for anywhere else in the house. I think I need to have a yard sale next summer!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is all my remnants. Right now I just throw all pieces I might use later into a big basket, and now it is overflowing!
My biggest sewing organization challenge is space and cabinets to put everything away.
I agree with Lynn F. My biggest Organizational Problem is figuring out where to store all the extras owe use for sewing and remembering where I stored them.
My biggest challenge is fabric. I have big tubs of bulky fabrics like fake fur and yardages of felt. Cotton cuts are hard enough to store but the bulky stuff takes of a lot of space.
My biggest organizational challenge is putting things back where they belong after I use it.
My biggest organizational challenge is putting stuff back where it goes when I am finished using it.
