I sew primarily as a second job doing sewing and alterations. Although I love to sew matching outfits for my granddaughter and her dolls as much as I can.
I sew as my hobby making gifts for my family and friends but I don’t spend as much time as I’d like to in my sewing room. I cannot schedule a set amount of time to sew each week but I might spend as much as 8 hrs one day if I get going on a new project. I like to add machine embroidery to most of my sewing projects and that can be time consuming picking out designs, selecting fabric types and matching thread colours. I used to knit and crochet a lot but haven’t done any for a long time.
What’s your passion? “I sew primarily as a relaxing hobby or for my home business or family. On average, I spend any free time sewing or planning my next project.
Do you sell items made from Pixie Faire patterns, let us know! "I have an Etsy shop, it’s called Grace’s Southern Charm
I sew because I love it! I love sewing, quilting, beading, embroidering – all things textile. I love doing quilts, clothes, dolls, doll clothes, embellishing – all of it. And now that I am retired, I do it all day, everyday & take all the classes I want.
What’s my passion? I embroider, crochet and even do a little sewing but only as a hobby and for gifts. On average, I spend about 6 to 8 hours week on my hobbies and gift making. I love finding just the right fabric or just the right design to embroider for our kids, grandkids and friends! Thank you
