I used to sew professionally before I changed career. But now in retirement I sew , knit or crochet as a hobby. Dolls and doll clothes have become a special interest. Hard to say how many hours a week as it varies depending on mood and back pain: from 10 to 20 hours maybe.

“I sew primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend 20 hours a week sewing. On occasion I donate items to local charity gift shops to sell, like our local historical park and veterans memorial.”
Patti M

I crochet both as a hobby and to sell. I also design crochet patterns for dolls. I spend up to 30 hours a week or more working on my crochet designs.

Karen Stimson

I enjoy sewing as a hobby and to supplement my husband’s income. I enjoy sewing doll dresses and girls slips, leggings, and dresses. The most fun are dolly and me dresses! I spend an average of 3 hours a day in my sewing room.

Sue

I crochet primarily as a hobby because I fell in love with the craft many years ago in Home Economics class. On average, I spend about 5 hours in a week crocheting blankets for fun and relaxation.

I do not sell items made from
Pixie Faire patterns. I do not have an Etsy shop.
