I sew primarily as a hobby business. On average I spend about 5 hours a week working in my sewing room. I try to squeak in a half hour before work each morning and a couple of hours on the weekends. I also tend to squeeze in more sewing time by taking a basket of handwork with me everywhere. My friends are used to it. My hands must be busy!

“I sew knit primarily as a way to relax, and keep my arthritic fingers flexible. I knit an average of 10 hours a week. I sew to make lovely little things for the grandkids. I unfortunately am not able to spend as much time sewing, as arthritis is making it difficult to do some thing. But I still try and get a couple hours a week in.

I sew as a hobby and maybe spend an hour a month sewing. I also do counted cross stitch and want to incorporate this into sewing doll clothing and accessories.

I sew doll clothes for my 18" dolls, as a hobby. I spend 2 hours a day on actual sewing. I probably spend close to that amount of time choosing fabrics and modifying the pattern designs and finding embellishments.

Pixie Faire Patterns are the best! I sell 18 inch doll clothes and just started sewing Build A Bear outfits. My Etsy shop is Oh So Dolled Up! To date I have sold 440 outfits. I sew most days and Love It.
