I sew primarily as a hobby I sew on average, I spend…not much yet but hope that changes soon…

Lately I have been doing a lot of alterations and repairs for friends and family non gratis so as for running a business I guess I’m not very good. I don’t particularly like doing it so I wouldn’t consider it a hobby. I did make and sold American Girl doll clothes when my sister owned a toy shop and made some extra $. I also worked for Ashton Drake Galleries which was a paying gig sewing doll clothes that I enjoyed. I sew whenever I can find time which is sporadic. I am hoping that there might be an Etsy shop in my future if I can ever get it together. :-)

I sew making beautiful things for others as a Hobby! Doll clothes to Quilts and many little projects. I take every chance I have for sewing, many hours each month. So relaxing. ~ Your patterns are wonderful and easy to follow! Thanks!

I have a LOT of hobbies! I sew clothes for my granddaughter, clothes for a historical organization I am in, make stuffed animals and dolls, clothes for different size dolls for both me and my granddaughter, counted cross-stitch, and learning to quilt, knit, and crochet. I don’t sell anything I make, prefer to give them as gifts to friends and family. I probably spend 4-6 hours a day on various projects just for the enjoyment of it.

I sew for both , Hobby and business although these days its mostly hobby. I sew for my dolls and sew a lot of home dec. Being in my sewing room is being in my Happy Place. I try to spend as many hours as I can there.
