What is my passion? Usually any project I tackle. I do all types of needlework and as long as I am not pushed for project completion, I enjoy the whole process. I haven’t yet sold any items made from Pixie Faire patterns as I am currently building inventory. It all takes time adding the little details to make them special.
What’s my passion? First and foremost, it’s sewing! — anything and everything!!! I sew primarily as my ‘therapy’ (hobby) making gifts for family & friends. I also participate in an annual craft fair and sell items. (BTW—I do have an Etsy shop, but I haven’t done much with it ((yet)).
Thank you for this opportunity to ‘blog’ and hopefully WIN!!!On average, I spend about 3 days a week sewing. I would do it more often if life in general didn’t get in the way!
I also crochet almost every evening while relaxing in front of the TV. And again, I make anything and everything for family & friends — as well as to sell.
I sew primarily as a hobby, but trying to develop it into a home business. On average I spend 5 – 20 hours in my crafting space, cutting, pinning, stitching. Sometimes much more, all depends on the week.
I sew, knit and crochet. Altho currently most of my sewing is quilt-related, I have spent many hours in the past making AG doll clothes for my grands. I love to see a picture and ‘figure out’ how to do it. I also enjoy knitting doll clothes, and people scarves. The latter is what I call ‘mindless knitting – I can just pick it up and knit away while watching tv or traveling without really having to think about it. Lately, tho, I’ve spent more time ‘researching (surfing on my tablet) than actual doing! If I had to put a number on it, I’d say 5-10 hours most weeks.
