I love vintage sewing and have for years. When I was in the 7th grade (many moons ago) I tried to fashion a dress for “Marie Antoinette”. It was a good effort for a 12 yr old, but your designs are much better. Love them.
My favorite time period was the Victorian time. I love all the beautiful flowing dresses with lace and yards of fabrics
My favorite historical time period is 1960-1970. Fashions were fun, colorful, and varied widely in style. So much was happening in our culture and world and fashions changes were fast and furious. So much fun.

I love pretty much all historical clothing. It has been my passion since childhood.

My favorite time periods are the 20’s, the 60’s and 70’s. The flapper style looks so fun. The 60’’s with the classic suits and hats. The 70’s had every thing from mini skirts to prairiedresses.

My favorite historical time period is the Regency 1810. Its my favorite because the dresses can be very simple but then you can add a decorative sleeve or a fancy Spencer jacket or add your ribbons and trims to the bottom
My favorite historical time period is probably the pattern I would be working on each time I sew. I love anything historical. Each period has it’s own wow factors. Right now I’m into the 1700’s and 1800’s long fancy gowns. I also love the 30’s and 40’s nice crisp lines. Anything historical works for me.

I have always enjoyed the fashions of the Victorian era. But the classic styles of the 50’s and 60’s are the fashions that I wore growing up and I relate to.
My favorite historical time period is the civil war era. My granddaughters go to the local 1861 girls school each year. I make their period clothes and make matching doll clothes. It’s so much fun to share this with the girls. They also have a ladies weekend and I get to wear some of the outfits. We eat, sew, paint, make toiletries etc.
I really like the turn of the 1900’s century. Steampunk reminds me of this era.

My favorite period in time is the Edwardian Period. I like how fresh and clean the lines of design became after the heaviness of the long Victorian Period. It was a crucial step for women’s independence. I love the artists, architecture, authors and fashion designs (with the big hats, simple silhouettes and beautiful details).

My favorite time period is the 1930’s and 1940’s – love how they were creative in making clothes when there were so little resources back in the depression and the WWII times.
My favorite historical time period is the late 60’s and early 70’s. This is the time period when new Rock and Roll groups were so prevalent. I would go roller skating all the time. Run the Avenue with with cool cars. Bell bottoms, mini skirts elephant pants, GoGo boots etc were all popular as were the Beetles. Hippies and peace were going on as was the Vietnam war. Lots going on then.
I really enjoy Renaissance style, and I like pirates too.

My favorite historical time period is the 70s. I was a tween/teen during that decade and was just becoming aware of fashion. This is when I learned to sew and to make my own clothes.
I don’t believe I have any favorite time period.historically. Each has its own beauty as well as ugliness. The Victorian fashions are beautiful to look at but were very restrictive and painful as well as harmful for the wearer. Then you can go to a period where things were less restrictive but miss some of the elegance like the 60s and 70s,colorful though they were. I like and don’t like things about each of them.
