My favorite historical era is early 20th century, and I’d love to see more historical patterns for BJDs of all sizes!
My favorite fashion era is the Victorian era. I would like to see a pattern for American girl 18” dolls.
My favorite fashion eras are the Regency and Victorian.
Asking for my favorite fashion era is like asking which is my favorite child…I love them all.
But, I have the softest spot for Edwardian and the 20’s Jazz era.
I’d like to see patterns that pay homage to designers from 1900 thru the 1920s….Fortuny ‘s tea gowns, Paul Poiret turbans and les robes, the theater of Erte (wow!), Jeanne Lavine’s Charleston dresses, Jean Patou’s early cubist sweaters, Edward Molyneux beaded dresses (but I’d want to follow his patterns into the 30s and 40s.) These designers did things that were awe inspiring. The fashion well runs so deep. It’s great to keep their heritage alive.
My favorite fashion era is the 1960’s possibly because I was young and fashion savy back then; my seconf favorite time ranges from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War, however the more I know of the actual living of that time I know I’d never survive dressed in those clothes!
