My favorite fashion era is 1860’s—USA Ciivil War. The times were dreadful, but I love those tiny waists, ribbons and lace. Glad I didn’t have to sew for grownups back then, but it’s fairly economical and fun to sew doll clothes today—- And I don’t have to worry about my own petticoats and stays!
My favorite fashion era is the 1920s although I love all periods. I’d like to see more designs of girl/boys clothes, not the adult fashions. While some periods did have children dressed as miniature adults, others had distinctions and I’d like to see some more Victorian, Edwardian,1920s, and 30s fashions for boys and girls.
My favorite fashion era is 2000 plus, I would like to see a historical pattern offered for a southern belle
My favourite fashion era is really none. I like to try different eras, materials to see what I come up with.
My favorite fashion era is the civil war – I just love the full skirted dresses. But I also love the 1940s style and I would like to see a historical pattern offered for a structured women’s suit or even a 1940s style “movie star” style dress/gown.
