My favorite era would be civil war and 1800’s. I love the designers and outfits from pixie faire. Too many outfits for so little time. Lol
My favorite fashion era is the 1930’s. I would like to see a historical pattern offered for an elegant evening gown from that era!
My favorite fashion era is …all of them!! As a costume designer, trying to choose just one is like trying to choose a favorite child. I would love to see some Medieval/Renaissance period, but I would also love to see some ethnic costumes also – an Indian saree or something from old time Russia. Ooooh – how about a native Thai dancer costume? I love the way your patterns work so well and are scaled to fit the figures. Thanks!
My favorite fashion era is changeable. I am more into the styles than when they were popular. I love puff sleeves and ruffles from the Victorian era but I also love fringe which shook the roaring twenties into focus. Then there is the retro 50s poodle skirts and a saddle oxford shoes that bring smiles and warm memories to many of my generation. On the whole each fashion era has added to the next and borrowed from the former. I love them all.
