Would like to see items for dolls larger than 18", there is a market for it.
Blessings to you all in this new year..!! My biggest challenge is the bulky appearance when using a facing and a collar. Just getting that to lay flat and especially in a button down shirt. 🤷♀️.

My biggest sewing challenge is getting time to finish, especially shoes and boots! So many beautiful patterns and ideas!
I really like being able to upcycle old clothing no one can use any longer. With my husband,4 boys and nephews denim fabric is easy to come by most of the time. Once they wear a hole in them then they go to the jean recycle basket. T-Shirts are great too and they do not have to be prewashed as they have been washed many times over. I have even upcycled flannel sheets.
Another of my sewing challenges has been making shoes, but after watching the video I picked up some tips to make Janes easier.
My biggest sewing challenge is making outfits to sell locally and actually feel like I’m getting something for my time.
finding small print cottons and satins for doll clothes.

I would love to see a tutorial on how to put a zipper in a pair of pants
My biggest challenge is sewing with silks and satins.
I love all the great and creative patterns on Pixie Faire. I find making shoes that are cute but easy to get off challengingly but the preformed bottom is so wonderful to use.
My biggest sewing challenges are finding time and staying organized
My biggest sewing challenge is all the small details on clothing. It makes the outfits for the dolls look professional. I am just not good on the little stuff. I need some tips and tricks.
My biggest challenge is picking appropriate fabrics for the garment I’m making, including coordinating colors and patterns to end up with a beautiful, unique outfit.
I’d appreciate tips for ways to get even buttons and buttonholes on small clothing.
Thanks!
My girls are grown, but now a younger generation is playing with Barbies. I made my girls their Barbie clothes. I wish you were around then. Sleeves and legs in slacks were a pain to turn.

My biggest sewing challenge is what to make next!! :)
Making the time to see is a big challenge
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew. 😬
I would love a course on how to make slopers for any doll. I have slopers from the courses here. But I also have Asian ball jointed dolls in many shapes and sizes that I would love to costume. Happy New Year everyone. Happy stitching!
I have a real problem seeing what I’m doing. My eyes aren’t all that good anymore. I need some kind of magnifier or something. My husband put up new lights over my work area which has helped a lot. I guess a trip to the eye doctor is on the list for the new year.
My biggest sewing challenge is time. I thought retirement there would be lots of time to spend in the sewing room but the days just fly be. Thank you for all the great patterns.

Happy New Year
Great information and creative
My biggest challenge is time. It seems something is always interrupting me or dragging me away from my sewing room.
Choosing what type of fabric to use
One of my challenges is having several different brands of 18” dolls to sew for. I haven’t made enough outfits for my daughters’ dolls to realize brand A is bigger in the shoulders than brand B or that brand C has a bigger waist. I make an outfit & it doesn’t always fit right.
I am really enjoying the videos & the SWC club. Learning new tips & techniques every day. Some of these new tips have helped in the current project I’m working on. Some will definitely be put to use in new projects.
Love Pixie Faire…my go to place when I need a new pattern.
My biggest challenge is choosing appropriate fabric. Fabric can “make or break” an outfit for both us and our dolls. A video course on this would be helpful.
I would like to see more upcycle ideas. Fabric just keeps going up in price.
My Biggest sewing challenge is letting myself get in the sewing room.
Love the Pixie packs!!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding a pattern that my grandchildren will like. I like the historical style patterns but my grandchildren like the modern patterns and I am challenged by all the choices.

Hears to sewing in 2024! Happy New year! May we all find the time, pattern, fabric we seek! I have a New Years resolution…SEW MORE! Thank you PIXIEFAIRE!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the uninterrupted time to sew.
My sewing challenge now is having an outlet for the finished product. I find myself no longer able to do craft shows. And I would like to learn the ins and outs of selling online. The pitfalls, the costs involved, the business of the business of online selling. I am a fish out of water and know nothing but have heard lots of horror stories. Help.

My biggest sewing challenge is overcoming my ADHD-induced executive dysfunction and getting started on projects.
My biggest sewing challenge is that I want to make all the things, and be instantly an expert, so often go too fast and mess up projects.
Finding time to sew any project.
My biggest challenge is getting started on a project.
My biggest challenge is the big mess my sewing room is — goal for the new year is to get it back together.

My biggest sewing challenge is trying to adapt patterns or alter patterns to fit my vision.
My biggest sewing challenge is sewing with knits. I have a serger, but I’m afraid to use it with such little pieces on doll clothes. My knit items always look a bit too stretched. I never know what weight knit to use for various projects.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew. I’m working 2 jobs gearing up for retirement, which means I keep accumulating fabric and notions (I love vintage!). However, the question is, “Will I actually use all of it?”
I think I will. I’m ready for the challenge!
my biggest challenge this year was watching the SWC classes now it on you tube makes so easier to watch
Finding a pattern that I really like, that I’m willing to spend the money on.
