We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I want to learn couture techniques so I can make some of the awesome historical patterns that are available!
I want to learn couture techniques because I would like my granddaughter to believe she has the most elegantly dressed doll in her neighborhood.
I want to learn couture techniques so I may continue making doll clothes for the Salvation Army Toy Shop Auxiliary in Cincinnati, Ohio. We have many volunteers like myself who turn out pretty little 18" doll clothes and dress an 18" doll and give it to a needy child each Christmas. I’ve been volunteering my time for 10 years and each year I try to make my outfits even prettier than the last.
I want to learn couture techniques to futher advance my sewing skills so that I might make even better garments for my dolls! :o)
