We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I want to learn couture techniques so I can use the techniques to create beautiful doll clothes and patterns too.
“I want to learn couture techniques so I can have a desciplined way of narrowing down all the ideas in my head to actually sewing. i’m a good sewist, but i have so many ideas that i get bogged down in what to begin next. then i will make wonderful doll clothes and some for me and my family as well.
i want to learn couture techniques so my projects will be outstanding. I love learning, and being able to recommend good resources for my sewing friends.
I want to learn couture techniques so that I can make very special outfits for Phoebe, my grandniece’s AG doll that was rescued from a resale store. After Phoebe’s hair had been chopped off by her original owner, nobody wanted her until Katy, my grandniece, paid $7 to give Phoebe a loving home. I volunteered one outfit each month to raise Phoebe’s spirits. Lessons in couture techniques would send Phoebe over the moon in her gorgeous outfits! Phoebe, Katy and I thank you for this opportunity!
I want to learn couture techniques so that I can make really neat doll clothes for my dolls and also the dolls of others. I love making doll clothes and would like to learn all I can.
