I want to learn couture techniques so I can make doll clothes that look professionally constructed. I belong to an organization that provides dolls and a hand made wardrobe to young girls that have been sexually abused.
I am a “sewing” grandma who’s feeling pretty darn out of sync style wise
with my fashion conscious granddaughters, who love new outfits for their 18 inch dolls American & Journey Girl dolls. I’m thinking that perhaps learning couture techniques could help me bring a touch of 2015 glam to my “dowdy grandma outfits”.
I want to learn couture techniques so that I can teach them to my granddaughters (5) and also want to start a home based business so I can spend more time with my hubby and my grandchildren (6). I sew but want to expand my knowledge. Thanks for the opportunity!
