We are working hard on the content for our latest class - The Couture Sewing Academy! It goes "live" on April 1st, (no joke). So to help launch it with some fun and enthusiasm we thought we'd do a comment contest.

I want to learn couture techniques so I can make doll clothing that looks professional, as opposed to what I do now which looks sloppily home made. I plan to make several outfits for a doll, then give her away at Christmas with clothes so she can be played with immediately.
I want to learn couture techniques so I can widen my knowlegde of the subject. And possibly learn more about being a seamstress.
I would like to learn these techniques to do a better job on the historical outfits I make for AG dolls, as well as challenge myself to learn more and improve my skills.
