Hi everyone,
On Friday (February 17th) we are offering a free pattern by designer Gaby Shearer. Gaby is the creator of the Originals By Gaby and Baby Mine brands. The pattern will be free starting at Midnight Pacific Time and free one-day-only. And if the pattern you voted for doesn't win, just go ahead and buy it as a way to thank Gabby!
More About Gaby Shearer and the Baby Mine Brand, (in her own words): I began sewing at the young age of 6 on my mom’s sewing machine. When I turned 8, she rewarded me with my very first Barbie doll patterns, many of which I still have! I purchased my first sewing machine – an old Singer Treadle – as a newlywed. It was then that I started creating doll clothes and altering patterns to fit Madame Alexander dolls. I didn’t have kids of my own yet so gave them away to others who could use them. I was soon blessed with 2 daughters and had a ball creating party dresses, play clothes and Halloween costumes. I’m now happily retired and thoroughly enjoy my rekindled love of sewing and creating doll clothes. Publishing my patterns is just an added bonus. The real blessing comes when I get to see all of the amazing outfits created with the use of my patterns!

The Carly Dress For 15 Inch Dolls Such As Bitty Baby: This pretty dress goes together so easy! Use a cotton for a casual look, or change up the fabric for a fancier occasion. Add a t-shirt or leggings for a fall outfit. Carly’s dress features a lined bodice, a full skirt, and over the shoulder straps. Straps can have buttons or knots in the front. This PDF pattern Includes instructions for using an invisible zipper or Velcro in the back and can be made without the waist piping for an easier version. This jacket will be perfect for boy dolls too. The fully lined jacket has front styled seams, two piece sleeves, and pocket flaps (no pocket) for a tailored look. Front tab snaps to jacket and has decorative buttons. Buttons can also be added to the sleeve. The jacket is made to fit over a t-shirt, but not a sweater. This PDF pattern is designed to fit 15” dolls like Bitty Baby and Bitty Twins. Recommended Fabrics: Light weight woven fabrics, thin wool, faux wool, cotton, seersucker, linen, cotton blend, rayon. Lining should be a light weight cotton, rayon, or polyester.
The Ruffled Romper For 15 Inch Dolls Such As Bitty Baby: Little girls and ruffles just go together. Have the cutest baby at the picnic or on the beach with this Ruffle Romper. It has 3 rows of ruffles in the back and a ruffle around the bib. Straps cross in the back and snap in the front. Spice up the front with an appliqué or machine embroidery. Included in this PDF pattern are instructions for making ruffled Bloomers, which are perfect to use under a dress or with a onesie. For those new to gathering, make without the ruffles for an adorable Romper. As your skill level grows, make it again with the ruffles. Recommended Fabrics: Light weight woven fabrics, cotton, seersucker, linen, cotton blend, rayon

It is 10:30 pm, CST. on Friday, 2/17. I thought this would be within the time limits, but it seems Freebie Friday is already over. I’m sad!
actually, I think I do like the tiered skirt, and t shirt the best. the rompers are really cute, but I have such a time with getting ruffles straight and even. thanks for the chance to choose. I appreciate it!!!!
This is so cute. Thank you.
Thank you!!!
I love the Carly’s dress, but all of them are so cute. Thanks Gabby for the free patterns to choose from!
I just have to vote for the Ruffle Romper and Bloomers!
Carly’s dress is cute
Thank you for the very cute choices. Glad to see a BABY pattern. Would like any one of them.
All are cute and I would be happy with any. I voted for the ruffled romper as I made many of those for my own daughter when she was a toddler. Thank you for the generous offer of a free pattern Gabby. I always look forward to being introduced to ‘new to me’ designers on freebie Friday.
Absolutely the ruffle romper and bloomers

Just wish to Thank you so much for allowing us to have one of your patterns for 15" dolls. I would like to vote on Ruffled Rompers. This reminds me of when I was a little girl with my tights and dressed up outfits with the ruffles on the behind. So feminine and girly girl. Thank you so very much. God Bless.
The designer’s bio could be mine. In every aspect. Including the Barbie pattern and the treadle sewing machine.
I really love each pattern, but Ivoted for the romper. Thank you for these free patterns each week.
Love all of them but the ruffled romper reminds me of the ones my oldest daughter wore when she was a baby

I love them all also, either would be great.Thank you so much for free pattern.
Now I must buy a 15 inch doll.
I love them all! Thanks so much for offering them to us. I think I’m going to vote for the Tiered Skirt and Tee because I think we would get a lot of use out of it for my daughter’s dolls.
i love all the outfits, the romper is so cute. my vote goes to the t-shirt & skirt. Thanks for all your lovely designs.
All cute but I like the snappy jacket best. Thanks Gaby for offering these patterns!
the tiered skirt and top are great. What a great advantage to have two pieces of clothing (top plus skirt) in the same pattern… My granddaughter says that we will make the skirt in two different fabrics with a pocket where you don’t expect to find it.. I hope the tiered skirt and top are the winners… as our bitty baby will enjoy her outfit, with the pocket where you don’t expect it.
thank you merci beaucoup todah rabbah Gaby.
Tiered skirt and T shirt but all of them are beautiful. Thank you.

My 15" doll is over 60 yrs old! She has a rather tattered fancy dress that is need of replacement. She truly needs an update. I picked the t-shirt and tiered skirt! Thank you kindly for these lovely selections!!
