About Liberty Jane Clothing: Cinnamon launched Liberty Jane into to the doll clothes world in 2008 with a fresh new take on Fashion in Miniature. Her collection of intricately detailed garments showcased in limited edition auctions caught fire and built a following in the collector community. The brand includes four main themes, Outback Libby, Euro Libby, Malibu Libby, and Tokyo Libby; allowing Cinnamon to explore several different fashion cultures in her work. The theme "make real clothes, just smaller" is predominant throughout the Liberty Jane catalog.
In 2009 she introduced one of the first full-color photo step by step style PDF sewing patterns online - the Liberty Jane T-Shirt Pattern, followed by the Mini Skirt, Cropped Jacket, and Jeans Bundle, which revolutionized the doll-clothes pattern niche. From the beginning, Cinnamon has worked to include other independent pattern makers alongside the Liberty Jane brand providing resources such as the Design Academy and Pattern Academy so that others could confidently create and sell their patterns too! Fast forward to 2024, she currently has 292 Liberty Jane patterns published and over 1 million PDF sewing patterns downloaded!

I think I probably found out about LJC on doll forums. It was ages ago.
I have been a member of Pixie Faire for so long that I can’t remember exactly how I came across them. I believe I had heard about the American Girl dolls and purchased my first one, them did a search for patterns on my dial up modem out here in the middle of nowhere, which gave me time to go fix me some lunch and come back, and there they were! I now have so many patterns that it is ridiculous. I stopped printing them all out quite some time ago, and now only print the cover page and pattern pieces. I use my computer for the instructions, usually. I have never looked back. What a grand site!
I discovered Liberty Jane doll clothes patterns many years ago when I was looking for patterns to make clothes for my daughter’s doll. I wanted to make doll clothes that were like the clothes that my daughter was wearing, so her doll could match her. I found just what I was looking for with the free t-shirt pattern and the jeans pattern. I’ve collected and made several more Liberty Jane patterns since then.
I stumbled across Liberty Jane patterns several years ago when I was browsing for inspiration for doll clothes. So happy I found it because I love so many of these innovative and creative patterns. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, but the one I’ve made the most is the Trendy Tee and its variations.
I love all the Liberty Jane patterns. They are so easy to follow and they come out great. Thanks for sharing your talent.
