My favorite Christmas tradition is attending the Christmas Vigil service on Christmas Eve. We still call it Midnight Mass even though it was held at 5pm this year. The church is beautifully decorated with Christmas finery and the service includes all the classic Christmas Carols. It’s a joyful occasion with family and friends gathering to wish each other a Merry Christmas and starts the day off on a high note. Then it’s food, fun and Santa Claus! Have a wonderful holiday everyone!

My favorite holiday tradition is the unrehearsed telling and acting out of the nativity that my church puts on about two weeks before Christmas. It is amusing as the animals (adults and kids in masks) come and go. This year we had seven wise people! The story comes through loud and clear to all who participate or just cheer on the proceedings.

My favorite holiday (Christmas) tradition is our traditional breakfast that I’ve always had ever since I can remember. It was my paternal grandmother’s traditional Christmas breakfast and not sure if it was something that her parents did but once I asked my children if they wanted to have something different and my daughter protested saying, “it’s our tradition!” Therefore we still do it!

So hard to choose just one!!
- I love making matching pajamas for my grandkids to wear on our family Christmas Day. We get a group photo of them. And they also wear them to bed in Christmas Eve as they wait for Santa to arrive.
- I also enjoy making stockings & filling them for my students. It’s great to see the joy as they discover what’s inside them.
- Christmas is a wonderful time of year! And when you love to sew, there are so many great ways to share your love through what you make.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

My favorite holiday tradition is getting together with family and attending church. Everything is decorated so nice and all the children are anxiously waiting to sing Christmas songs and listen to the story of Jesus birth. After church it’s always fun to hear the kids talk about what they heard in church. It’s so nice to know that they are still learning about and being reminded about the real meaning of Christmas.
