I purchase a majority of my fabric and notions from Hobby Lobby and Joann’s ; occasionally at a local shop. I usually shop when things are on sale. Hobby Lobby’s clerks are always pleasant and at Joann’s some of the cashiers will try every coupon to see what works;not true at all Joann’s. Each of these places are 45 minutes away so trips are planned in advance; can’t just run out when in need. Would love to order online but I like to see and feel fabric. I ordered buttons online and they were too small and shipping is a drawback.
“I shop for most of my fabric at my local quilt stores. I was pleased with the selection and quality of the fabric and the customer service is great. I am a quilter so I use my left over stash for making doll clothes for a charity and my grand daughter. I do shop at Joanne’s for sewing supplies, trims and ribbons.
I shop for patterns on ebay . I was pleased with reproduced vintage patterns from a-pattern-peddler. The quality was superb, shipping was extremely quick, price was good.
I shop for thread at Wawak. I was pleased with quaility and speed of shipping.
I shop for shoe making supplies at Hobby Lobby and the Dollar Tree. Their cork foam board and chip board makes tons of soles. I shop for fabric at The King’s Threads online. The quality and selection of fabric there is wonderful and the customer service is superb. I also shop at Amazon and Etsy for sewing supplies when I need them. I have never had a problem with any of it. I get most of my patterns from Pixie Faire because of the quality and variety of sizes they sell.
