I sew for making primarily gifts and home dec.for my friends and family. The time I spend differs from month to month.
“I now sew primarily as for my home business, making mostly handbags, but still make clothes and doll clothes for my grandchildren. On average, I spend 35-40 hours a week sewing during the craft fair season. I’ve taken a month off, but getting ready to crank it up again in the next week or two. I’m expanding into historical/thematic sewing for the AG dolls. Hopefully, I will find a profitable venue for selling my doll clothes.”
I sew and knit as a hobby. In recent years it has been very rarely as my husband has been very ill. Now he in a nursing home i will have more time to do these relaxing activities.
I sew, knit, or crochet primarily as donations for people to sell at Relay for Life events on average, I spend about 10 hours per week on projects”
