I sew and craft primarily as a hobbyist and, because I am handicapped and primarily housebound, I spend 60 to 80 hours a week creating. This hobby gives me an outlet for my creativity and I usually sell just enough to keep me in crafting supplies. ;-) (a boon when you are living on a fixed and minimal income) :-D
“I sew and knit primarily as a hobby on average, I spend over 5 hours a week and sometimes it’s over 5 hours in a day.
I sew primarily because I enjoy creating doll clothes for my craft booth and its good theraphy when I am stressed. The plus side I mediate on the Lord. I average 3 or 4 hours a week.
I sew primarily for the love of making doll clothes, though I have an Etsy shop. On average,I spend as much time as I can, almost 8/10 hours a week.
I sew primarily as a as a small business on average, I spend about 20 hours a week sewing (but, this changes and goes up during craft show season – Fall!). I also sew for my family and home – so that is for FUN!!!
