I sew primarily to make costumes and dressy clothes for my grandchildren and clothes for me. How much time I spend per week varies, depending on the frequency of demand and the need for speed. Usually I’m sent a photo as a starting point, plus a few measurements.
Between finding a suitable pattern, to adapt and figuring out what’s needed, altering the size to fit my nonstandard cuties, buying the fabric, cutting and sewing it up, it’s a good two weeks each time. And let’s not forget the time spent praying that it actually will fit!
I crochet primarily as a hobby, I spend my free time in the winter making gives to give, such as scarves. Crocheting exercises my hands.
I crochet and see as a hobby, I love making my granddaughter and her friends one of a kind clothing and accessories for their girls! I probably spend way to much time on it!
I sew primarily as a hobby and also to help my sister with her business On average, I spend 10-15 hours a week.
I sew and knit primarily as hobbies. I haven’t done much sewing recently, but have knitted 1-2 hours a day. I plan to get back to sewing soon
