I sew doll clothes for fun but make quilts and shorts and pillowcase dresses for orphans and that seems to take up more time than the dolls clothes, but a very worth time.
I sew primarily as a hobby and spend an hour or two some weeks but some times more than that when I’m working on a quilt. Then I hunker over the machine and flit to the ironing board, hour after hour.
I sew, knit and crochet primarily as a hobby although I do have an Etsy shop, but because I spend about 40 hours a week sewing, I can’t really consider it a business because I make less than $2.00 an hour!
