I both knit and sew, my knitting is only a hobby and I knit 6-7 hours a week. I sew both at home and to make samples and teach at work, on an average I would say I sew somewhere between 10 to 12 hours a week.
I sew, knit, and crochet as a hobby and for my business about 30 hours a week. It brings me so much joy!
I sew for pleasure now. Doll clothes for gifts for great grand daughter, plus clothes for her and others. I sew as needed, not any specific amount of time, as I said it is pleasure.
“I sew primarily as a hobby- create interesting things for my home. On average, I spend about seven hours or more per week sewing. I try to sew at least one hour per day. If I’m really invested in a project, I might sew from sun up to sun down.
I sew, as a hobby, for gifts and for selling an occasional quilt top, and as part of an educational historic evnt. I spend probably an average of an hour a week, but can be up to 30 hrs.
