I sew primarily as a hobby, but have sold many of my creations. I sew about 10 to 15 hrs a week. I been sewing since I was a teenager, but enjoy it more now.
I sew primarily to make items to sell at small Holiday craft shows and as a hobby to make things for my friends and family. I always hope that I will sew primarily from my stash, but then I step into a fabric store and all is lost!
I used to sew clothes for myself and children – out of necessity! But now I teach others to sew and because I enjoy it. Never thought of it as a “hobby!!” Cant give an average time I sew per week – it varies from zero hours to 14.
