I sew primarily as a hobby, but I want to get more into business someday. I spend only a couple hours a week making clothes for my AG dolls.
I knit as a hobby and I teach quilting for fun yo 4H. This takes on average about 8-20 hours a week. More if I get an extra day off!
I sew and crochet as a hobby and to have things to donate to fundraisers. It’s hard to figure an average because I sew in short bursts – I might go months without having time for anything and then gear up to make 10 outfits for a fundraiser in a few weeks!
I sell primarily to get rid of my fabric hoard. If I am ever bitten by a radioactive spider, I hope my superpower is being able to clone myself so that I may actually stand a shot at winnowing my collection down.
I sew primarily as a hobby,I do tailoring (nothing ever fits quite right off the rack) for family and quilt and love to sew doll clothes for myself and extended family, love Thimbles and Acorn patterns. I sew at least an hour a day, sewing is my relaxation. I have been sewing for more then 60 years.
