I sew as a hobby that turned into a business long ago. i still do both as if business slows down i have it as a hobby to fall back on…as someone said, it is great therapy!
I sew primarily as a hobby; on average, I spend 8 hours a week sewing (more during school breaks).
I primarily sew as a hobby. On average I spend about 10 hours a week.
I sew and or quilt a min. of 2 to 3 hours every day. It is a great hobby and I have met a lot of interesting people. I am in the process of making a wardrobe of clothes for a little daughter of a missionary. This will be here “Santa” gift next year. Even the parents have no idea where the quilts this year came from. So much fun to do something that you know will be unexpected and make someone so happy.
I knit as a hobby everyday, it also keeps my hands moving. I also give a lot away to organizations and non profit organizations. My daughter has a site going to try to make some money back for what I do.
