“I sew primarily as a hobby.On average, I spend 8-20 hours per week sewing, depending on what projects I am working on or helping my nieces work on as I have been teaching them to sew..
Knitting and sewing are hobbies at the moment but I do sell some clothes to colleagues and friends for their children and grandchildren. It varies because of my employment but I spend at least 20 hours a week doing these hobbies.
I sew primarily as a hobby, sometimes for my business, on average I spend an hour or so a week (I do various other art things and music as well, plus school makes it hard to find free time haha!)
I sew primarily as therapy for PTSD. On average, I spend approximately 15 hours a week making doll clothes for my granddaughter, great-nieces, and the TLC dolls I rehab.
I sew (and knit) primarily as a hobby. I am my husband’s caregiver, so I appreciate having beautiful things to sew that can be put aside when I need to attend to him, and that come together quickly when I come back to them, unlike full-size clothing. I will cut out several outfits and let them wait: I don’t have a set amount that I sew each day, but I binge-sew often for a week or more at a time, completing at least an outfit a day, including hand work. Thanks to the Pixie Faire staff and to the designers of these lovely clothes for this opportunity.
