I sew, Knit, Crochet and Quilt primarily as a hobby ( in my spare time) on average I spend every spare minute which averages out to around or about 5 to 6 hours a day. I love it.
My husband is the one who sews american girl dressses for me. I sew on the embellishments by hand.
Its about 3 hours a week of time altogether.
Its a hobby for my husband and a blessing to me.

I sew as both a hobby and a business. Most of what I sew goes up for sale. I mostly like to sew for American girl dolls, but also sew for other dolls as well. I spent probably 8 hours a day total sewing, bringing the total amount of time that I sew a week to around 56 hours or so.
