I sew primarily as a hobby. I’m only able to get a couple of hours per week working on projects for our AG dolls.
I sew primarily as a very small home business (and fixing my non sewing daughter’s clothing) I spend on on the average about 30 hours a week sewing.
I sew, knit and crochet primarily as a hobby and spend about 20 hours a week doing this. I enjoy making things with my hands and am always looking for more patterns. I do not sell my completed projects. Most go to my family and friends. Some are donated to various causes. Thanks for helping to keep me busy!!:)
I do an average of 75 craft fairs each year. I sew both for profit. It is my me time. I start sewing around 5am and sew til other responsibilities pull me away
I began embroidering at the age of 3, cross stitch on gingham squares. I sewed and designed for the public for 40 years including doing props for Sew Perfect on HGTV. I have now retired from 20 hour days sewing for others and I spend my time caring for my 95 yr old mother and making quilts and doll clothes. The doll clothes are a way to relax as I have been making some sort of doll clothes for 60+ years. My grandkids have all outgrown the dolls but I continue to make them and give them to other kids for their dollies!
