I sew primarily as a hobby and make doll clothes for my granddaughter and myself. I love making historical clothing for the 18 inch dolls.Time for my sewing varies.
I sew for a hobby and sew in spurts. It maybe months before I have the urge to sit at my machine but then I go crazy for a month or two. I usually then wind up with a bunch of birthday and Christmas gifts.
I have sewn just about everything from bras for myself to sport coats for my husband!!! That’s all in the past now! My sewing room is now my play place and I love making doll clothes and heirloom garments for babies and little girls ?
I sew primarily 18" doll clothes for relaxation and for sale. I spend roughly eight hours a week. I would love to sew period costumes!
I sew as a hobby and for practical reasons (mending, alterations, etc.). I love making clothes for my grandkids and for their dolls. I like quilting and applique. I love sewing accessories for the house and table, toys, bags, storage boxes and baskets and, finally, I always like trying new patterns and techniques. On average, I spend about 5 hours a week sewing although the amount of time varies considerably from week to week!
