“I sew primarily as a as stress relief, and for fun; on average, I spend about 20 hours sewing for my family and friends. We are RenFaire nuts so I am really good at making medieval and renaissance clothing! Sadly I do not spend as much time as I want, I hand sew, sewing as the weather can make my hands hurt. ALL of my Grand Daughters (8) have 18" dolls that I sew for.
I sew because it is my stress reliever. I’m in a world of my own whilst creating outfits and patterns.
I sew and knit primarily as a hobby. The time I spend varies greatly depending on what I am inspired by at the moment and, of course, what else is going on in my life.
I sew and knit as a hobby. Spending about 2-3 hours a day or about 14-21 hrs. a week. As I am retired I can also fit in several extra minutes each week on projects I truly enjoy.
I sew primarily as a hobby, but also sell some things. I love to give things away. I also help out with the church’s quilt guild. I spend an average of 4-6 hours a day sewing.
