I sew, machine embroider, knit, and hand embroider for family, gifts, and charity. Most weeks I knit with a prayer shawl ministry 2 hours but also spend the evenings watching TV with any of my hand work. I usually only sew during the day. So probably anywhere from 2 to 20 hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less, since I also spend some of my creative time with basket weaving.
I sew primarily as a hobby on average, I spend about 10 hours a week. It is a hobby however our sewing group makes doll clothes that we sell and donate proceeds to our neighborhood parish school.
“I sew, knit, and crochet primarily as a hobby and am hoping eventually for my home business. On average, I spend about 30 hours per a week when my arthritis/health allows. Someday I hope to be sewing for a granddaughter but, for now, I will make things for a hope chest.
I sew for my Etsy shop, and it’s more like a hobby so I sew whenever I feel like. Usually around spring, summer, fall and winter for the basic clothing releases I have. It’s pretty fun! ?
I sew primarily as a hobby but also sell items. I sew a few hours a week but hope to make it a couple days. I have a long list of projects I want to do. Including sew powerful purses.
