“I sew primarily as a hobby on average, I spend less than 1 hour a week.
I sew primarily for practical reasons—clothing, household items, bags, and some for business. I spend as much time as I can at it, which isn’t very much. It would probably average out to 2 or 3 hours a week.
I sew, knit, AND crochet primarily as a hobby/leisure-time activity. On average, I spend around 3 or 4 hours in a week working on projects. I typically have a few projects all going at once so I have a variety; I don’t want to get bored plus I have so many things I want to make I can’t make myself work on just one at a time!! =0)
I sew primarily as a home based side business, on average, I spend 6-12 hours in a week. It gives me both an enjoyable activity and allows me to be creative, something that does not exist in my “numbers” job.
I sew, spin and weave as a hobby. I sew about an hour a week but with 5 young grandaughters who are just now learning about the world of Dolls -I am hoping to start sewing doll dresses and more!
