I sew primarily as a hobby. I have been offered to be paid for some of my creations but usually give them as gifts and do not charge. The time I spend sewing really varies. Sometimes I am constantly sewing and at other times I have a tough time getting much time in. I have never kept track of the hours spent.
I sew for the fun of it. I often alter my clothes to fit better. I spend an average of an hour a week. I spend more time if I am sewing a craft project. In 2017 I sewed a stuffed bear to donate to charity, several outfits for an 18 inch doll, a Christmas stocking for a new family Dog, and I altered several pairs of pants.
I sew primarily as a hobby, but I hope to open an Etsy shop soon! On average, I spend 4-5 hours a week sewing.
I sew as a hobby. I used to sew all the clothes my kids wore but then my career became more demanding and I sew less and less. Now I am working on retiring soon and look forward to sewing for my granddaughter’s and their dolls.
