I am sooo lucky – I am retired. I sew & quilt as a hobby and I do it every day. It really bums me when I need to take time to clean the house, pay the bills, etc – they interfere with my play time.
I sew for my own sanity and for my five grand-daughters enjoyment. I love how their eyes light up with a new dress. I am not sure who I will sew these doll clothes for once the girls out grow dolls.
I sew, knit, and crochet as a hobby. I can never seem to spend as many hours doing so as I would like! On average, though, I would say perhaps 10-20 hours per week.
I sew or knit/crochet primarily as a hobby on average, I spend a total of a few hours a week on a project. I enjoy knitting or crocheting blankets for baby showers. This all is a great stress reducer and keeps me from snacking!
I sew primarily as a hobby to make clothes and doll clothes for my granddaughter, on average, I spend about 5 to 8 hours a week sewing. My other hobby is making beaded jewelry and I spend about 20 to 25 hours a week on that.
