I sew and crochet primarily to bless other people, through shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child, or by gifting items to special people. I sincerely believe every little girl should have the opportunity to have a doll, with lovely clothes and accessories, to enrich her playtime during those precious, fleeting days of childhood. It is a privilege to create beautiful things for a child who may only get one gift in her entire childhood via the OCC shoebox gift ministry.
I sew and crochet as a hobby, primarily for stress relief. I spend between 2 and 15 hours a week sewing. And an hour or so crocheting.
I sew primarily as a hobby for grandchildren, family and friends. I spend an average of 6 to 10 hours a week sewing.

I sew primarily as a hobby although I have in the past made money from my output. I sew about 15-20 hours a week – more in the winter and less in summer when there’s too much yard work to keep up with.
