I usually sew every day for 4 hrs, making doll clothes for sweet little girls I will never meet, but I know how precious their little hearts will be. I tried knitting 3 times, Once my sister-in-law showed me, I didn’t get it. Once Another gracious lady from church taught me and I made 4 little scarves, all the while buying kitting patterns for the future dolls I would buy. Then I paid someone to teach me and my granddaughters and this time I used my right hand. My granddaughters did great…I still do not get it. Lately my right knee had surgery and I have been in therapy . This is my 4th. mo. This week I plan on using my sewing leg to start sewing again. I have given up on the knitting part and pray God will send me someone to either take these sweet sweater patterns or help me make them for the dolls going to someone to love.
I sew primarily for my granddaughters and for the one craft show a year that I do. I would say I sew 5-10 hours a week with that number going up in September and October and falling off drastically after the first weekend in November when the show is over.
I sew primarily as a hobby. On average I spend very little time sewing though I wish I could do a lot more. Right now things are tough at work and by the time I get home I’m bushed. Retirement coming soon though and I’m hoping that when that happens I can sew a lot.
I sew for a hobby as I like to sew and go to a quilting group at church.
I sew primarily. But my whole sole is creative. I’m a cross stitcher, quilter, home decor, doll maker, and painter. I have never tired of dolls or making them and their cloths. I’m also a crazy quilter which is exciting with embellishing. I especially love historical clothing for dolls. This giveaway is the bomb. Thanks for the chance to win.
