I sew primarily as my occupation as a tailor. This is my primary source of income and I usually spend about 30 hours a week sewing. This time of year I have more time to spend sewing doll clothes for my granddaughters, maybe 4 hrs a week.
I sew, knit, and crochet primarily as a hobby and on average, I spend 3 or 4 hours a week depending on the project and personal time constraints.

I sew as a hobby a few hours a week. I’m an enthusiastic beginner & spend more time reading how to than actually sewing!
I sew as often as possible and at this point of my life, with a toddler, tween and teen in the house, is not often enough. I find a lot of pleasure in creating with my sewing machine. I’ve recently gone from sewing dresses and dolls clothes, to mini quilting projects!
