I sew primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend about 10 hours a week. I have an embroidery/sewing machine and digitize some of my own designs.

I sew primarily as a hobby. I’ve sold a few outfits but mostly make clothes for my niece’s doll. She has an American Girl coloring book. She colors the pictures and then asks me if I can make and outfit just like picture. The color combinations are challenging. I spend on average a couple hours a week on sewing. It’s hard when you work every day.
I sew now primarily as a hobby. Over the years I not only sewed at home, but also had sewing jobs in alterations and costuming that had me sewing 40 to 60 hours a week. Now I spend only as much time each week as I must for whatever projects I have on hand for our grandchildren. As each girl becomes old enough, I allow them to select the pattern and materials for their birthday outfits. New doll outfits are usually made to mirror their birthday dresses as all the dolls now have extensive wardrobes.
I sew primarily as a hobby. On average I sew 20 to 40 hours a week.
