Since I retired from my career job 4 yrs ago, I have been sewing for a home business. I make more in repairs & alterations, but I LOVE making doll clothing and craft items to sell at our local small Sr. gift shoppe .(portion of sales goes to local Meals-on-Wheels) IF you count prep work and gathering supplies, I can spend 25-40+ hrs/week. Liberty Jane/Pixie Faire website classes (& patterns) has added knowledge & techniques that has taken my 50+ yrs of sewing up several notches ! Thank you for such a great Christmas collection. Shari’s patterns are detail excellance !
I knit, crochet, and sew as a hobby.
This is my creative outlet and I enjoy the challenge of a new project.
The items I make are for grandchildren and friends.

I sew primarily for my home business, on average I spend about 8 hours a week sewing.
I sew primarily as a way of escape from reality. On average, I spend 6-8 hours a day. Some days i accomplish nothing. Other days I may accomplish a great deal and yet other days nothing but looking at fabric or daydreaming. sewing is a way of escape and comfort especially if sewing for some one who appreciates it.
