I knit, embroider and sew primarily as enjoyable hobbies and will spend up to 38 hours a week doing so. Thank heavens I’m retired!
I sew as a hobby and making gifts for my family. I spend about 2/3 hours per week.

I sew as a hobby to make clothes for reconditioned 18 inch dolls I donate, and to sent to my 7 y o niece who who thinks I am fabulously talented (which I’m not) and her favorite of her 7 aunts (which I appreciate). I spend 4-7 hrs a week sewing doll clothes and shoes together.
I sew primarily as a home based business about 20 hours a week. I started sewing doll clothes for my grand-daughters. The girls are too old to play with dolls any more, I guess I never got too old to enjoy making clothes for dolls.
