My favorite cultural tradition is attending the annual Scottish Highland Games in our neighboring city or in North Carolina. There is good food,
music, dancing and the highland games.
Some cultural patterns that I would like to see would be for traditional Swiss, Scandinavian, and Austrian clothes (for both girl and boy dolls).
A favorite cultural tradition I take part in or find interesting is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. I love to go downtown Chicago (when I don’t have to work) to see them color the river green. We all wear green on that day and we have the traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner. Although I spoke of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, a cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be more Halloween outfits/costumes for the Dolls. After all it is usually the little girls that are playing with the dolls and looking to dress up their dolls for Halloween just like they do.
The cultural tradition I attend every year is our local Filipinos celebration of the old buffalo, of which my dad was a member of.
A favorite cultural tradition I take part in or find interesting is eating English(British) Foods…. A cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be british style.
