My favorite sewing tip or trick is to keep a scrap catcher under my sewing machine and one under my serger. That way, bits of fabric and thread drop into the catcher and not all over the floor!
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to read through all of the directions before beginning your project, pin and cut accurately, baste and always, always press as you go.
I like to collect patterns and materials and then match up different prints before starting a collection of clothes.
MY sewing tip is to cut up socks missing partners and make them into leg warmers and knee high socks.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to “sew with your thumb underneath and your fingers on top.” This tip helps the fabric layers to feed evenly and prevents puckers.
