Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is… the 1930’s. I’d love to see a pattern for the lovely tailored dresses and hats. I would like to dress 18 inch (and other sized dolls such as Madame Alexander’s Cissy dolls) to look like Nancy Drew on the covers of the 1930’s books.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is now. I’d love to see a pattern for more workout wear and sports apparel. Ski parkas, windbreakers, jogging shorts, and boy clothes.
I love all historical periods of dressing. As a costume designer for theater I use doll patterns sometimes as a starting off point. I have Kit, Samantha and Rebecca American girl dolls.Sh
“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is Regency Period. but I also like Colonial too. Actually, I am blown away by the vast spectrum of clothing periods that Pixie Faire designers cover, so much so that I can’t think of anything to fill in this blank. It was the pattern makers that pushed me into collecting American Girl dolls. I doubt that I could make all the patterns that I own in two lifetimes.
These dolls have given my daughter something to occupy her time with. She does filming virtual youtube tutorials for AG and other 18" dolls as well as sews her own clothing for them. What a great way to grow up!
